“Fit4Austria” Summer 2025: a successful programme for entering international markets

‍Presentation of certificates to companies from the Republika Srpska under the “Fit4Austria” project in Vienna

Yesterday evening a formal ceremony was held in Vienna at which the certificates of the Wirtschaftskammer Österreich (Austrian Economic Chamber) were presented to representatives of twelve companies from the Republika Srpska that had successfully taken part in the “Fit4Austria” project over the past months.

During the three-day visit, the participants had the opportunity to hold targeted B2B talks with Austrian companies and with sector representatives of the Wirtschaftskammer Österreich. The presentation of the renowned WIFI International certificate also officially concluded the first project cycle of the current year.

These certificates constitute a publicly recognised document and are valid throughout the EU, which is a significant advantage for companies that wish to expand their market presence in Austria and beyond it in Europe.

The Head of the Representation Office of the Republika Srpska in Austria, Mr Mag. Mladen Filipović, stressed on this occasion:

“The participating companies have undergone intensive training over the past months, organised by the Wirtschaftskammer Österreich. The aim of the project is to build lasting business contacts with Austrian partners and to open up new potential for cooperation.”

Alongside the Wirtschaftskammer Österreich, the event was also actively supported by the Austrian Serbian Economic Forum.

As in previous years, the “Fit4Austria” project was successfully carried out by the Representation Office of the Republika Srpska in Austria in close cooperation with the WIFI institute of the Wirtschaftskammer Österreich and the Innovationszentrum Banja Luka (Banja Luka Innovation Centre). Since the start of the project, more than 80 companies from the Republika Srpska have benefited from this initiative and received an internationally recognised certificate.

The “Fit4Austria” project remains a flagship programme for promoting economic cooperation between the Republika Srpska and Austria – and offers a lasting platform for economic exchange in Europe.
