Forum Graz 2026

At a ceremony in Graz on 11 June 2026, the relaunch of the Austrian Serbian Economic Forum was presented. Representatives of business from Austria and Serbia, representatives of the Serbian Embassy, political leaders and entrepreneurs from various sectors took part.

The focus was on the presentation of the association’s new presidium and board. Since then, Martin Kurschel has headed the forum as its president. The forum’s new website was presented at the same time.

What was decided in Graz

One focus of the new direction is an Austria-wide roadshow which will travel through several federal provinces over the coming months. It brings together companies, investors, chambers of commerce and regional institutions in order to make the potential of Austrian-Serbian cooperation visible on the ground.

Our aim is to promote economic relations between Austria and Serbia even more intensively, to create new partnerships and to give active support to companies from both countries in their international development. The forum is intended to be the first point of contact for entrepreneurs who want to make use of the opportunities in both markets.”
