Winter Get Together in Vienna: successful certificate ceremony under the “Fit4Austria” project

On 25 November, in the formal setting of the Winter Get Together in Vienna, the certificates of the Wirtschaftskammer Österreich (Austrian Federal Economic Chamber) were presented to representatives of twelve companies from Republika Srpska which had successfully taken part in the “Fit4Austria” project over the preceding months.

During the three-day visit the participants had the opportunity to hold targeted B2B talks with Austrian companies as well as with specialist representatives of the Wirtschaftskammer Österreich. The presentation of the renowned WIFI International certificate also officially concluded the first project cycle for the current year.

These certificates constitute a publicly recognised document valid throughout the EU – a significant advantage for companies wishing to expand their market presence in Austria and on the European market further.

The Head of the Representation of Republika Srpska in Austria, Mr Mag. Mladen Filipović, stressed:

“Over the past months the participating companies have completed intensive training organised by the Wirtschaftskammer Österreich. The aim of the project is to build lasting business contacts with Austrian partners and to open up new potential for cooperation.”

In addition to the Wirtschaftskammer Österreich, the event was also actively supported by the Austrian Serbian Economic Forum (OESW).

As in previous years, the “Fit4Austria” project was successfully implemented by the Representation of Republika Srpska in Austria in close cooperation with the WIFI institute of the Wirtschaftskammer Österreich and the Innovationszentrum Banja Luka (Innovation Centre Banja Luka). Since the start of the project, more than 80 companies from Republika Srpska have benefited from this programme and received an internationally recognised certificate.

The “Fit4Austria” project remains a flagship programme for promoting economic cooperation between Republika Srpska and Austria – and offers a lasting platform for economic exchange in Europe.
